Tomi & Timi Escapades

Mike & I brought Timi & Tomi along with us at baywalk near Mall of Asia last Sunday. And it was a tiring day for us, it seems like we have kids already because of their ‘kakulitan’ or even worst. On our way, Tomi was sitting on Mike’s lap while Timi was sitting on my lap.
Tomi is a kind of dog who really loves staring at the window and watch the surroundings. And he’s not yet contented, he would even step on the steering wheel just to see the full view. Kulang na lang mabangga kami. So hubby decided to put him at the backseat.

.
Timi, on the other hand, is well-behaved. She was sleeping on my lap then suddenly he moved towards Mike’s lap. Then she vomitted! What a mess! Buti na lang hindi sa akin hehe. She has this motion sickness especially if long travel. We didn’t expect the traffic because of the sto. nino parade along Roxas boulevard so it took us 45 minutes before we arrived at MOA.

At baywalk, Tomi & Timi were so excited and much happier to meet new friends. Kids there were even enjoying playing with them.

We decided to leave baywalk few minutes later and just come back after hearing mass at the Shrine Of Jesus. We stayed outside the church. And it’s kinda awkward to hear mass having dogs with you hehe. As the mass ended, we took them for a long walk to the dogs in the city store of MOA. As we walked, Timi pooed in front of SMX building. Bad!

At the parking lot, Tomi and Timi looked so tired…:D

Happy Birthday

happy birthday to you
happy birthday to you
happy birthday, happy birthday
happy birthday to me!

Yes, today is my birthday and happiness is a choice, so, I choose to be happy :) I’m bothered nagkaka wrinkles na ko eh…(hehe).

So how’s my day? It is still an ordinary day for me nothing new, (except for my new haircut), nothing special. I just attended a novena mass with my hubby at the chapel near my former office in Legazpi Village. We also planned to have dinner in Serendra but hubby has to go back to his work, so I just waited him at home. Ooops, you might be wondering, I just resigned (again) from work last december.

At 7pm hubby fetched me then went to Serendra already. After looking around,we finally decided to eat at Brazil. They served buffet.

Despite of what we are going through right now, I still thank God for the wonderful thirty one years of my life and for giving me a loving husband. I know that everything happens in His plans and I just wish Him to bless me with more strength.

To my friends who greeted me, thank you!

Welcoming Year 2008

Year 2007 has been a very fruitful year for us.

God has been very grateful for He showered us so much blessings. Just to name a few, I had the chance to travel in Europe with hubby, I wonder if we could get a house in Makati, but we did. It’s not that big but it’s a house that we can make into a home and start build our family. Mike has been promoted.

But like the quotation said “To whom much is given, much is expected”. Life wouldn’t be meaningful without its challenges.  We have learned to rise from these expectations and even made us to have a stronger relationship with HIM.

Welcome 2008, may this year be more fruitful and meaningful to us.

Sonya’s Garden

The first time i heard about Sonya’s Garden in Tagaytay was on t.v. when it was featured in one of the local t.v. shows. And now the place is really popular. Mike and I with our friend Karen went there two weeks ago. We just planned to take our lunch there and inquire on rates of their well known SPA services.

As we arrived, we didn’t expect to see bunch of people coming. The parking space is not that big to accommodate their guests. Lucky enough we got our parking space. We looked for their restaurant immediately because we were all hungry, it was around 12:30 pm.

We were all first timers in that place, as we entered the restaurant we were all clueless. :) I’m aware that they have buffet but we didn’t know if it’s a self-service until one of the waiters finally noticed us and led us to our table. I liked the place, I find it very romantic and I even told Karen to hold their wedding reception here next year. This is their menu, all of these will be served

And I was overwhelmed with the food overflowing on our table. P500 is all worth it.

I think we enjoyed so much eating and tasted every bit of the food that’s why we didn’t notice the time, it was already past 3 in the afternoon! We paid our bill and started looking around Sonya’s Garden.

For the guests who wanted to lay down and take a rest, cozy beds are found within the vicinity.

Mike and I will surely go back here for an overnight stay and pamper ourserlves with their SPA services.

Making Money with Google Adsense

Wohoo! My first check from Google arrived last week. The site Blissful Weddings is what kept me busy for the last five months. I’m just too happy that I was able to monetize my spare time.

Now I am thinking of putting up another site. :)

Workshop Day 3

Today is the 3rd session of my photography class. We have tackled about Composition of Photography on our previous session and today we have to present what we have learned about Composition.

The class is divided into 4 groups and each must have one representative to present the groups’ work. I belong to group 1 and we named our group as FOCUS.

This is our group work:

Our work being criticized by our lecturer Cecilia Angeles

Two pictures I have submitted:

The class said that it was the most outstanding picture from our group maybe because it looks so delicious. Our lecturer commented that it was too reddish but when I was asked about the setting( taken indoor, light set up is tungsten) that I used in taking this picture she then said the the color is just right.

Our lecturer liked this picture, it simply follows the law of thirds (picture area is divided horizontally and vertically into thirds) in composition. The contrast in colors is also noticed in this picture.

The winning group

Judges (our lecturers) chose group 3 as the winning group.

Our activity in the afternoon is with Mr. Toch Arellano ( hope I remember his name right hehe). His forte is a portraiture. He showed us the proper set-up and studio lighting.

Here’s what I got, our classmate from New Zealand as a model.

Nyahaha! Yes, it was over exposed. I really like her pose here and she was even looking at my camera but sad to say my other classmates were also taking her picture and used fill flash and ruined my shot.

Another photo that I’ve got but my hands were a bit shaky here.
